Three options for faulty Sidekicks
Posted by Joe P on November 23, 2007
If you were one of the many that bought a defective Sidekick Slider, you can rest assured that T-Mobile is on the case. They have said that Motorola has identified the problem as problematic battery contacts, are are working to fix the problem in all future handsets. for now, you have three options from T-Mobile.
You can:
1) Exchange your Sidekick Slide for a Sidekick LX for no extra charge.
2) Return the Sidekick Slide for credit towards any other T-Mobile phone.
3) Wait for the fix from Motorola.
We’d certainly recommend going with one of the first two. No reason to stick with a faulty phone and wait for a fix.
