T-Mobile subscribers get JuiceCaster

How many social networks are you on? It seems that most people are on more than one nowadays, which has given rise to social networking services. These guys coordinate action across a number of social networks, allowing you a single place to keep up with all of your friends and family. JuiceCaster provides social networking services to wireless service carriers, including Alltel, U.S. Cellular, and Cricket. Now they’re adding T-Mobile to that list. If you’ve got of of the dozen or so compatible T-Mo handsets, you can consolidate your social networking experiences, right on your mobile phone.
As a JuiceCaster member, you get access to top social networking services like MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and Friendster. Beyond that, they have a hook-up with Blogger — which would be nice, except we use WordPress here at Going Cellular.
JuiceCaster adds its own value to the service, too. Yes, you can upload pictures across social networks from your phone, but you can also upload a video status message, which can be seen by other JuiceCaster members. This, appropriately, is called a JuiceCast.
“People network online, but live on their phones now more than ever,” said Nick Desai, CEO of Juice Wireless, Inc. “By enabling users to easily capture and post desired content to their online profiles and update their status with real-time videos, we provide unprecedented capabilities in the social communications arena. We are thrilled to launch JuiceCaster on T-Mobile, a leading innovative wireless operator. Now, even more people can get JuiceCaster directly on their phones and start living a connected life.”
The service will set you back $2.99 per month. Sounds like it could be worth it if your friendships are spread across a few social networks.
