Sprint, once bleeding customers, now bleeding execs

Need I again chronicle Sprint’s troubles? Check out posts about them at Prepaid Reviews and here at Going Cellular. There might be nuggets of good news here and there, but for the most part its indicative of a company struggling. This will continue today, as it will be the last for the company’s CFO, CMO, and president of sales and distribution. So not only does Sprint have a lot of customers to win back, but now it has to find able bodies to fill these roles.
No initial reason was given for this mini-exodus. One might assume that it has something to do with CEO Dan Hesse, who is roughly a month into his tenure. But this move could have been in the making for a while. Maybe they were ready to go when Forsee resigned, but were asked to stay around for transition purposes.
At this point, it’s hard to see the move doing any harm to the company. They’ve been scraping bottom for a while. Maybe a complete change of guard will help spur them back into prosperity.
This whole situation actually reminds me of a quote from Fight Club: “It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.”
Good luck with that, Sprint.
