T-Mobile handset 2008 launches leaked

Wondering what new handsets your carrier is going to debut in 2008? Whether you got your newest phone a few days ago or two years ago, it seems everyone wants to be on the up-and-up with what phones their carrier is going to offer. After all, we all want to be the cool kid who has the phone everyone wants to play with (a big reason I never got an iPhone). While we’re not going to be able to track down the future releases for all carriers, the guys at Boy Genius Report have seen the list from T-Mobile. So what will their new stock look like?
For the fourth quarter, we’ll be seeing a couple of Sony Ericsson phones: The Bella and the W760. They’re both 3g camera phones, with the Bella notching 2 megapixels and the W760 with 3.2. Sounds like the W760 will have aGPS as well.
Motorola is bringing the ROKR E8 to T-Mo, though there’s hardly anything cool with that. It’s a nifty-looking slider, but it’s very basic. The Z6w is also slated for a release, and will supposedly have WiFi, making for a slightly higher-end Hotspot phone. But there’s no 3G on either phone, which is a disappointment.
BGR also mentions releases from Samsung and HTC, but nothing specific, and from what they imply, nothing spectacular.
But if you’re on T-Mo, this is what you have to look forward to. I’m not exactly seeing a prevalence of WiFi/3G phones that can test T-Mo’s supposed seamless handoff.
