“Miles To Go” app helps keep lease fees in check

Anyone out there leasing a car? If so, an application which costs $3 might end up saving you a thousand times that amount. RiffWare has announced the availability of Miles To Go through Verizon’s Get It Now platform. The premise is simple. When you lease a car, you have a mileage limit. Problem is, it’s tough to gauge your usage of those miles. Yes, you have the odometer, but that doesn’t tell you your current pace. Miles To Go will analyze your driving habits, and let you know if you’re in danger of running up milage fees on your lease, which can run 10 to 25 cents a mile. Go even a few hundred miles over, and it can add up.
Rob Witman, CEO of RiffWare, says that, “For today’s hard-working American families, every dollar counts. The reality, however, is that many people who lease fall into the trap of committing to yearly mileage constraints that are incompatible with day-to-day use of the vehicle. Miles To Go is a personal finance tool that takes the ‘guess work’ out of overages and gives drivers ample time to adjust their habits before it’s too late to do anything about it.â€
If you’re leasing a vehicle, this should be added to your expense list. For less than a tenth of the price of a gallon of gas, you can get the application. That’s the best feature, really: the price. Three dollars is a pittance for the amount this can save you.
