Breaking your contract without paying an ETF

And you don’t have to move to California, either! Seriously, this kid knows what he’s talking about. He’s culled information from Consumerist, and put it all together to give you a means to break your contract without paying that $175, or whatever your carrier charges.
He works with Verizon, but these tactics are pretty universal. Give it a whirl and see if it works with your carrier. If it does, drop me a line: jpawlikowski at goingcellular.
