How I Stopped Using Bad Cell Phone Etiquette

Hello my name is Stuart and I’m a recovering cell phone jerk. It has been one year since I last disobeyed the basic tenets of cell phone etiquette.

My parents brought me up well and taught me to be courteous and respectful to others. Normally I’m a polite and dashing young fellow, with oodles of charm and a rapier wit. However, there is a little switch inside my brain that turns me into a complete ass, whenever I get a vibration in my pants or I hear the Grand Vals excerpt.

AFAICS, there are TMFA

You know those AT&T commercials where they talk in acronyms? Well, now you can, too! It’ll take some time to learn the language, but after you put in a few hard hours on the SMS Dictionary of Abbreviations, you’ll be ABRVing everything you say. Just think of how much more you can communicate if you do it in fewer symbols. There are hundreds of entries, and I certainly haven’t seen even a quarter of them. Scroll through at your own leisure, but after the jump, you’ll get a few of my favorites.
