Get 500 minutes from Alltel

Posted by Joe P on February 22, 2008

If there ever was a time to switch to Alltel, now is it. See, they ran the 50th Daytona 500 recently, and Alltel’s No. 12 Dodge won. This is special not only because of the landmark 50th running, but because Alltel’s time in NASCAR is limited. They’ll be thrown out soon, along with AT&T, as Sprint Nextel flexes their muscles as NASCAR’s exclusive telecommunications sponsor (because they sponsor, you know, the entire sport activity). So Alltel wants to celebrate by giving 500 free minutes to new subscribers.

This is good for those who pick rate plans at $39.99 per month or above. The offer will extend from Feb. 22 to Feb. 24. You can sign up online, via shopalltel.com, their toll free number — 800-ALLTEL-1 — or at any Alltel retail store.

From CMO Frank O’Mara:

“Alltel Wireless is celebrating the excitement of Ryan’s incredible Daytona 500 victory with this special offer. We are very proud of Ryan Newman, No. 12 Alltel team and our association with Penske Racing. We could not have asked for a better way to start the 2008 season.”

So yeah, you might wanna hurry up on that. It only lasts until Friday.
